I have just been linking a few things on my hubs, and realised, Duh! that I have linked the wrong bit on some of them. you know when you go to put the link in, it comes up twice? make sure you always check if the link is good or bad before you save. Me being stupid, I did'nt bother to see which one was the valid one on some of them, and just deleted the wrong one!! how dumb can you get? so make sure they are all valid. I have had to go back and check all my hubs. Still haven't finished yet. Thought I would just tell you. Mind you, it is probably just me. Okay? cheers
It happens to the best of us. I noticed that when I add links in the link capsule, the list grows backwards. So I can understand what happened to you. It used to mess me up too. Now I just keep that in mind and I try to remember to reorganize the list of links before completing a hub. The links capsule lets you drag and drop the links, which helps reorganize the order. Just wanted to add my 2 cents. Oh, sorry, it's 5 cents now due to inflation.
Don't try to link a word twice because the editor gets messed up, it has happened to me once or twice. You need to first remove the link and then re-link the words or funny things happen.
good luck on that.

Currently, we are allowed 2 text links within a hub for links to our website, blogs, or articles written elsewhere. But, if you don't join the HP Amazon program, do you know that those 2 Amazon text links are not extra ones? If you use 2 amazon links, then you have used up your quota of 2 personal...

Whether I agree with HP's new policies or not, I respect the site's right to set their own rules. However, I think one of the reasons Hubbers are getting upset isthey're getting warnings based on rules they don't know existExamples:1. I have "overly promotional" warnings on several...

I feel kinda silly asking this because I can't find any mention of this anywhere in the forums... If I want to put a link to something in my hub, as a reference for example, do I need to get permission from the particular site or page before I do?I completely new to writing internet-style. My...

Hi, my hub http://hypnodoctor.hubpages.com/hub/How … em-Knowing has been featured for years. It's even a part of the HubPro program, where an editor edited it and made it better (this happened a few months ago, maybe about 6).So, a day or two back I edited the hub and added a link to my...

My hub karma score is going high. I don't know if this means I am over linked to other hubs. But some how the traffic is down.No idea if this is because of linking. Does it make sense to believe that those to whom we link will link back to our hubs?

When you check the status of your Hubpages, what action do you take when the link indicates broken?Daily checks often indicate a missing Hubpage link. Who the heck keeps deleting or unpublishing their Hubs? Basically, I'm asking what you do about it?
