As a new hubber, i was wondering about a few things here on the site. i was trying to find some commentary on the general practices, or culture around hubpages. For instance
Is it considered ok to just add yourself as a fan of somebody if you find you like their content? or should you ask first.
Is there anywhere to go to get some advice on how you are doing so far? any good groups that will help you build friendships and connections?
And how long did it take before you started to see your fan club and actual hits go on the rise?
Any advice would be appreciated!

Lol, thank you for the answers!
and yes i understand i will not get an immediate comment explosion. i was just wondering on how long most people were active in this community before they started seeing somments and that kind of thing.
i guess i am a little of an eager beaver!
