Do you still have the Space Invaders stalking you?

It annoys me no end to see EditBot marring my page under "Accounts".  Yesterday I went through each hub [admittedly I dont have hundreds like some of you] and ticked or unticked each 'error' as I saw fit.  I still dont think I should mess with someone else's writing so I unticked those.  I have noticed that the yellow or grey color has gone so I don't notice them easily on the hub.  And the best part?  There are none on my Accounts page.  Gone.  I am free of them.  Yeah!

Yep even the ones for comments.  Does it bother me?  No because I am in the process of moving my hubs to another site, not because of the space invaders but because of a better income opportunity

Aah!!  The joy of real choices.  Leave a few here LoisRyan13903 so you will visit sometimes, but wish you the best with the rest.

I'm sure I will come here for the questions and answers but will leave some hubs

I don't have the time to go through hundreds upon hundreds of check marks in my hubs, the vast majority lurking in my comments. I took it upon myself to write a hub about it instead: http://faceless39.hubpages.com/hub/the- … p-is-xxxxx

Good on you Faceless39.  I shall endeavour to read your hub.  It promises to  be interesting.

Good for you, MarieLB. I got rid of mine, too. I was overwhelmed initially and decided to leave them be. But when the update was posted with the new and improved system, I went in, reviewed corrections all over again, and the idiots, urr . . . editbots disappeared. Frustrating, time-consuming, and tedious, yes, but in the long run, very good.

Janis Leslie Evans, I hate to say this, but I fear it won't be long, and they will be back. . . .  At least now I know how to get rid of them.  Funny that, how annoying I found them.

I accepted all the corrections made by editbot by viewing each hub. And now they have gone. But, there is still one stalker on my "Rasam" hub. It is not going. I edited some words in that hub after removing the errors shown by editbot. Now there are no corrections in that hub. But, the editbot is not removing from the accounts page only for this hub. I think, the editbot got angry at my corrections instead of accepting its corrections. That is why it is not going. Very silly!!!

Hi V M you gave me a good laugh there.  Funny how these little ugly critters have got us all riled up.  I love the way you worked out the why of having one still lurking there.  Storyteller par excellence!
