How do I opt out of  Hub Pro Premium?

The email I got said I could opt out by going to "My Account" then "Profile," and even provided a link.  But, when I went there, I didn't see any mention of Hub Pro Premium.  Anyone know how to opt out.

I am not sure you can even opt out anymore. The last one they did of mine was a health hub, and the email contained a message (veiled threat) stating that if I did opt out of Hub Pro Premium, they could edit it anyway using the Hub Pro Basic program.
Your best bet is to copy everything, including the images, onto a Word document. When they are finished, if changes are made that you do not care for you can go back and edit it again.
(The first editing was good but it was a few selection and naming hubs. The last editor wrote across AjejĀ“s face in her new and improved image that was supposed to be made for Pinterest. I am pretty sure no one would want to copy that image!)

Thanks, Doc.  I always write my hubs in Microsoft Word first, then copy and paste them into the hub template.  So, if they change any of my hubs, I can just change them back to the way I want them.  My writing is my writing, not theirs.

I would still copy it anyway after you are done, since the images you choose and the placement are part of your unique contribution. The HP program might delete those.

I don't even care about the images as they're easy to replace.  I just don't like the idea that HP can come in and re-write our hubs.  If they do, and I can't un-do what they did, I'll leave the site.

I had a good experience with my first 5 hubs, not so good after that. It is still possible to edit the hub as you feel appropriate after the process is done. BTW, your sentiment is pretty common around here.

How does one know when they've edited one's hub?  If they want to be helpful, they should just make recommendations, not changes.  It's good to know that my sentiment is shared...I don't feel quite so cavalier now.

They send you a "I have finished editing your hub" email.

When I get my first, I'll reply with a "who asked you" email.  I don't mind the edit bot because we all make typos and don't catch them, but I resent them intruding on my creativity.  I'll bet they'd change the color of the Mona Lisa's eyes.
