Firstly what is a tag cloud?
What is the difference between a tag and a keyword or keyphase, or is there none?
Why are some tags have no follow and what relevance is this anyway?
I just want to use a bit of polyfilla in my knowledge base, is there anyone who can answer these questions?
A tag cloud is simply a bunch of tags together.
A keyword is a phrase that people search for in google and you have to use in your hub many times so that your hub can be found. It is recommended to use your keywords as tags too.
A tag is a word or phrase you use to describe your hub. It creates a link in the sidebar that when clicked brings you to a list of all the hubs having that same tag - a list of similar hubs. So basically a tag is a tool to categorize hubs.
When a link is 'nofollow' it means that the google robot doesn't follow it to its destination page. So for instance, if you use a site that gives links the 'nofollow' attribute to backlink to your hubs, then google when scans that site will not follow the link and your hub will not be found. So 'nofollow' links are no good for backlinking purposes.
At least that's my understanding of it. But did you not ask these questions 3 months ago?

The tags you put in when creating an article... are those HTML META Tags? Google stopped paying attention to those in like 1999, and I don't think any important search engine uses them -at all-Is there any use in filling them in?

Today I was reading Edweirdos Hub about how to use Tags to make relevant RSS Feeds (thankyou Edweirdo). In that hub Edweirdo states "I already knew that the tags we add to our hubs are used as keywords to describe the content of our hubs when Google's robots come along to perform their...

I just wrote a hub about a new web series called H+. I don't know how to tag this appropriately, since the name of the show has the + sign in it, and tags don't accept special characters. How can I tag this so that is will be picked up in search engines appropriately?

Was looking and noticed that all adult hubs have the No Follow tag in them. Didn't matter what the hub score was or the Hubbers over all score. Is this a error or is this a permanent thing? ...

Ok, I did look at the FAQ's before coming here, and I found a hub on tags and read it. But it seemed to contradict another article I read. I also read through the comments and noticed that another hubber posted my question 4 months ago and has yet to get a reply so I am going to ask...
