Has anyone noticed a drop in their profile score after they unpublished a hub?

    Has anyone noticed a drop in their profile score after they unpublished a hub?

    My profile score dropped several points after I unpublished a couple of hubs that weren't generating sufficient traffic, and were tagged with those dreadful half-moons. I was wondering if anyone else had a similar experience.

    Hi Genna. Yes, mine dropped also after I unpublished a few hubs due to lack of traffic. Actually, both my hub and hubber scores have been steadily dropping since the niche sites implementation began. It is very discouraging.

    One of my hubs went crazy with views, over 45K in seven days - yet even with that my profile score has dropped.

      Hi Phyllis.  I'm very sorry to hear that.  It doesn't seem fair, although I still don't understand how the niche sites implementation impacts all of us quite yet.  It's very discouraging.  Thanks so much for your answer.

    I never look at, nor care about "scores" any more.  Having stayed on 100% for about 3 years, I took a sabbatical from contributing and both my overall rating and comments rating dropped drastically.  How unfair to drop your comments rating!  After all, you are the same person you were before you took a break.
    But it's the old carrot and stick routine, although in HP's case, it's nearly all stick!
