What does count as spam?
Hi, I'm new here and i'm trying to publish my first hub. Now, I have scored 71 ( I guess that is a decent score, or at least not that bad for a first time), but the article was not published. As for why, the only clue that I have is this message that the moderator left for me:
"'This Hub is unpublished because it did not receive high enough ratings to meet HubPages' quality standards or because it contains spammy elements''
Disclaimer: the article is on a religious topic and it is fairly critical.
Spam is when you try to get money from tricking people to pay you. It must be something else if you didn't try to get money or posted a bad link. Read other peoples hubs and see what they all have in common as to they're way of saying things. No offensive material.
Usually you'll get the "spammy elements" if you are linking to untrusted sites.

I was wondering if this is considered spam. It might be but not sure so I am checking to see what others thought. Spam was the word that was highlighted in my rejection letter but not sure if it is highlighted all the time. https://hubpages.com/forum/newtopic/cat … raising-29

Hi Hubbers! Please be sure to read today's blog post about spam and product capsules. In the post, I invite you all to ask questions in this forum thread. Paul E., Robin, and myself will be monitoring the thread over the next couple of days. Ask away!

The first problem I ran into was it said I was using a keyword too much. The keyword was roses and I was saying that there...

I have recently begun to completely revamp my hubs. I am publishing several revamped hubs per day. Can this have a negative effect on my HP profile score, Google rankings etc.??

I can't believe what's just happened. One of my hubs was scraped and stolen. No big deal right? Happens all the time and its something that seasoned online authors get used to after a while because hunting thieves down is almost impossible. Well here's a new twist. Hub Pages found the stolen...
