I have a 2000 chevy silverado 1500 5.3. the check engine light will blink for several minutes and
stay on. I have used a code checker several times but it will not show a code, it just blinks as long as the checker is plugged in.
Sometimes a blinking light means a misfire is occurring, but not enough in a cycle to set a code. There are many reasons why a misfire will happen.
