Has anyone else noticed HubPages counts many correct words as misspelled?
The most recent example for me is "preselected." An update to the text recognition system would be appreciated.
Yes, I have! Especially with medical terms. Oh well, I just Google it to double check that I'm spelling the term correctly
I could be wrong, but I think what you are complaining about may be your browser and not Hubpages. I mean, when I type the word 'Hubpages' right here, it is underlined with the red squiggly for a misspelled word. So clearly it isn't Hubpages, it is my browser doing that.
Strangely enough, HubPages doesn't recognize its own name, and I believe it has its own text recognition software (not a browser's). However, while programs like Microsoft Word include most terms (including preselected), HubPages misses several.

This is really not a big deal, but I am curious why there are two separate word counts for hubs. I am editing a hub and the new feature shows a word count of 1287. When I click on "done editing"...
