Hi, all! New to Hubpage, I have one question. I know I can insert an image to my hub pages, is it possible to put a link to the image? So if someone clicks the image, it links to another website. I am unable tot figure it out because I cannot see a code editor like some other blogs would allow me to insert codes like this:
No, it isn't possible. You can insert a link in a link capsule or in a text capsule (highlight some text and click the icon that looks like a chain link).
Some limitations are intentional, some we just haven't had a chance to eliminate yet.
On another note your hubs are treading into the overly promotional category. You may want to take a look at this, and the other rules about content in the FAQ:
Thanks! I'll leave this place.......this place it not very friendly from what I see so far, there are some landlords are trying to control everything on what you want to say.... there are tons of other places I can post.....come on, slam me!!
Not quite sure what you are saying here, but there really aren't too many limits on what you can say. However, there are limits on where and how you can link. If you can't live with them, then yes please move on.
no one needs to slam you, you have shown what type of person you really are with this statement alone, it is your personal choice to leave this site.
had you read the rules of this site before you joined you would have known that this site wasn't for you. blame yourself, no one made you join. bye bye adios cheerio and ta ta.....jimmy
Either I can write a technical review on it or maybe Jimmy will give us some jock flavoured comedy in the form of Why HubPages HQ Are Mean Landlords

FYI I can't get links to operate properly. Wonder if it has anything to do with adding Kontera to my sites today since an official of the site said they would allow smaller earnings again with no limit.

Is there any value in linking to your own hubs within OTHER hubs and your profile page, in terms of search engine page ranking? Any advantage at all? I've seen a lot of people do this.If this is a silly question, please forgive me; I'm still relatively new here. Thanks.

In reviewing my traffic sources recently, I noticed that I was getting traffic from a site called traffup.com, which I had never heard of before. I went to the site and signed up for it to see what it was all about, and found that someone had posted a link there to one of my hubs. I thought...

I have to issue a grovelling apology here, I stuffed up mightily. I posted an explanation of how to claim authorship with Google, and made one small but extremely important mistake. For those who followed the original advice, my sincere apologies. You need to edit your profile and...

Well, I hope I am posting this in the right spot. I've been on Hubpages now a little over 3 months, and am enjoying it thoroughly, all the writers here have been great. I have done a lot of research on increasing traffic to my hubs, and mostly people seem to collectively agree that to really boost...

As many of you know, Google recently introduced a feature to identify authors around the web. To be recognized as an author, you need to create a Google profile and add links to your profiles on the websites and blogs where you write (which includes your HubPages sub-domain).However there is...
