A new account with approximately 15 hubs attracted about 1000 page views during late November until Christmas, with up to 100 page views per day. Since then, traffic has dropped to almost zero. Own page views do register, and there is a sole visitor here and there - that's it, for about 3 weeks. How can this be, even taking into account the holiday season?
Nelle Hoxie, thanks for pointing out that such fluctuations are only to be expected as a result of the holiday shopping season, at least with what you consider to be a very small portfolio of merely 15 hubs.
Also, thank you very much for pointing out that we should not purport to be experts or give advice without knowing considerably more about the market conditions. Don't worry, we have never contemplated rendering advice about marketing-related issues. Plenty of experts cover these important and complicated areas, including yourself.
Hopefully, this should not discourage us from critiquing and expressing our opinion about other quality-related aspects.

I hear people talking all the time about hubs that produce good readership, but I know this number differs for many. In your case, how many views per month do you think is good for any given article? Just curious.

I am experiencing an overall average off 66 percent less page views per day, for seven days versus a week previous and for the past two months. Such a huge drop in page views makes me think that Google has tuned up something again. I do know that I don't have the time and energy to keep...
