    I didn't want to hijack another topic but Misha mentioned submitting a Hub RSS to PINGOAT and I wondered if anyone (Misha?) could please expand on this?

    I picked this idea from someone here. I think it was coolbreeze, but I was not able to find his original hub or forum post on this. I might be mistaken, though...

    Anyway, pingoat.com is the service that you submit your blog to when you get a new post, and it takes care of letting the whole internet know you posted something new. Not sure if it produces any backlinks with the staying power, but it can help your new hub get indexed fast. For more info you can look here and here:

    Thanks for your help Misha. I don't have a blog but I see that somehow it can be used with hubpages. Do you know how that works?

    You just copy-paste your hub's URL and title into the service, check all general sites to submit to and hit the button big_smile

    I'd also recommend pinging http://pingomatic.com  pretty good pinging service.
