Jimmythejock is back!,
I have been away from Hubpages for far too long, I could blame work commitments, I could claim a busy family life or I could just admit the truth and that is, that although I do spend a lot of time working on my cleaning business and that I have a very active family life, i actually got lazy and could not bring myself to write very much.
Over the past few weeks I have been soul searching and pulling myself together at long last and I realized that I missed what I loved most outside of my family life and that was writing and interacting with the wonderful community that is Hubpages.
I am back with a fresh outlook and a lot more to write about, maybe the long break was what I needed because I feel like I can take on the world now.
I have a couple of new Hubs in the works at the moment but for now I am focusing on my Hubs that have been un-featured due to poor quality or because they no longer receive traffic.
It will take me a while to sort through them all but I will get there.
I feel like a prodigal son coming back to his family.
Good to have you back, always nice to see a familiar name back on HubPages.
Welcome back. It's ironic that you came back just now because a few days ago for some reason I was wondering where you were! I know that you were fabulously successful here, so your return will not only be good for you but good for all of us here. Lots of changes have happened so you may want to look over the team's blogs, etc. I assume you already know that Paul sold HP to a company called Maven? If you don't, you should be aware of this change. Looking forward to reading your work.
Welcome back, jimmythejock! I wish you the best upon your return and acclimation to the not so new but much improved HP. Good luck!
Dude, I remember the day you joined. Jokes and all. Great to hear from you.
The old gang means a lot. You are an original. If we could get our official poet back around here from time to time, that would make my day.
would be great to see Drax lol, thanks Paul great to see you too.
Glad you saw the light again, Jimmy. You always post quality, and I'm sure HubPages is very happy to see you, too.
Strangely enough, I was wondering what had happened to you just the other day, JImmy.
I always assume that the people who were here when I joined HP are either too busy writing, or they've gone on to other things, if they're not in the forums.
Sorry to hear that some of your hubs have been un-featured. I trust that at least your WWI trenches article is still doing well...
I think now might be a very good time to start writing again! There appears to be a newfound vigor and direction in the HP beast!
Welcome back, Jimmy! Pleased to see another old timer......not that you're old or anything.
Welcome back. In case you don't already know, the "new" network sites is where the money is at. Party on.
Gang oft astray....them best laid plans! Get crackin with that wee pen Jimmy!
Thanks Guys and Gals, good to be back, and good to see you all again, I have really missed this and everyone here.
Welcome back Jimmythejock from another cleaner...a window cleaner that is. I also work with my wife and we have a grand time...usually
Hi Jimmy. Good to see you again. I was singing ‘Ya cannae shove your granny aff a bus’ to my new grandson the other day. Got to set the rules while they’re young. Lol.

Hi, everyone. Thank you in advance for reading; this is a little long-winded.When I was a kid, I loved writing books. I'd sit at the computer for hours, typing. I knew I was going to be a writer one day. Even my elementary school teacher said I had talent. When I was 22 I got a publishing contract...

I was just watching my local news, and imagine my surprise when they said that HubPages had announced their annual list of top holiday destinations. They said that, according to hubpages.com, Tunisia is the #5 holiday destination for 2010. After snooping around a bit, I'm pretty sure they were...
