I do hope that it is not considered in poor taste to post a formal introduction. I didn't see a specific area for this and figured that I should take a leap and say hello!
My name is Amber, and I am just starting off my little journey here with HubPages. I won't even lie: I am a bit nervous as I am not really much for the spotlight but hey! Time to push those fears aside and get on with it right?
The only point to this post is to meet new people within this awesome community and hopefully make a friend or two. I am excited to be here and really look forward to writing again. It's been a very long time since I picked up a pen, so to speak. Re-igniting my passion is long overdue, and as Martha Stewart would say, "it's a good thing."

I am already really enjoying this place. It seems as though it is far easier to be as creative as you want without so many barriers and obligations that take away from conveying your message in a way that you want it to actually be conveyed. Yes, I am seeing how wonderfully supportive and willing to help everyone here seems to be. It is awesome and I am really glad that I decided to nix the whole blog thing, and start in a more supportive environment.
It's a learning curve no matter what you do at first. And honestly, just designing a blog was frustrating me big time (I am not technically inclined lol!)
I am working on a few pieces still. I will plug away and hopefully get a few more published by the end of the week.
