Can I have both Ad program and Google Adsense active on my account?

    Hello, a few days ago my Google AdSense account was accepted, but I was not seeing any earnings(although both in HubPages and Adsense it says that I have had about 100 views), so I activated my Ad Program too. My question is, will my earnings from the Ad Program be reduced due to Google Adsense? Should I deactivate one of them?

      It's the other way round. You have to have Adsense in order to benefit from the Ad program as there is always one Adsense ad on the hub.

      You can either have Adsense + HP ad program or you can go for Adsense only. It depends on your topics. Some work better for Adsense, others don't.

      It's fine to switch back and fore, but give it a week before switching back.

      You won't see much in the way of earnings until you have around 1000 views per day.

      No, your earnings from the AD program will not be reduced because you also are using Adsense.  AS theraggededge said, you must have Adsense activated to earn money here.  However, when using the Ad program, you only get one adsense ad and it's at the bottom or your page, where few people see it...thus, it doesn't earn much.  If you just use Adsense, all of the ads will be from them and the income will increase...but of course you won't have any Ad income if you do that.

      If you're just starting out, I'd stick to the AD program and Adsense and see how you do.  You can always change later.

    Someone told me that I could only get earnings if I have AdSense, they said having just the ad program won't get me earning!

      That's right. Because HP gets revenue via Google Adsense, so you won't get paid unless you have either Adsense on its own, or Adsense + HP ads.

      Basically, activating/deactivating HP ads, is like a switch. You'll either be earning from one (Adsense) or both.
