I've noticed that Hubpages doesn't update the Url to my articles after I've made a title change. Does this cause problems with google or search results or possibly lower ranking because title and url don't match?
Yes, you can't change the Url once it is made. With what I've understood by doing a little research on Url(s) is that it does make a small difference. URL that has keywords can improve visibility of your site.
The URL is the one thing you should never change. If you change it, the link changes - which means ANY links that have been posted on other websites, blogs or Social Media no longer work. Basically, any changes will leave a raft of broken links. Which means you'll lose all the traffic you may have had clicking those links.
As long as the article is still related to the URL don't bother. Also, you cannot change it once you create the hub, the only way to change a URL is by creating a new hub. In most cases you would not want to do this.

After changing the title of the hub, the URL remains the same. Does it affect the existing traffic or the position on Google ? How often the title could be changed ? Is it advisable or not ?

I just noticed a "glitch" today after creating my latest hub when writing in a title. The title is the first thing I write when I open the hub tool. As I'm writing the hub, making many additions and changes to my original, I look at the title to see if it still fits. In most of my hubs, I...

I know I'm starting another lost traffic thread, (geesh, enough already), but...Here's why. As it has been noted, HP has suffered, site-wide - all of us - even the touted success stories, traffic loss due to Google's year-long algo changes. That's the BIG problem that is almost only solvable by...
