How do I do a global search for a certain phrase on Hubpages? The little magnifying glass function sends me to a list of sub-sites.
Hi SylviaSky, I used to get information like a certain keyword or a phrase (like a quote) by the seach function. As long as there is any match within HP you get a list of Hubpages articles. As soon as there is no result there actually isn't any hub with your phrase or keyword.
But, I don't know if the search on Hubpages is working correctly at the moment as I always get the information that I opted out this service, which I didn't.
To solve your problem I would try a search via Google with Hubpages as your first keyword and then your phrase. I hope that works and helps.
It's not worth searching Hubpages.com anymore as it is nothing more than a holding site. It's better if you find the niche site that has the topic you're looking for. Personally I find it easier to search Google. So for tomato articles, for example, I'd type Dengarden tomato.

I have been here on HP over 3 years, and still don't fully comprehend the concept! I get that they are words and/or phrases that reflect the content of your article, aren't tags, and that they're not to be 'stuffed'. Apparently I have some block to this, since some of my articles have...

Okay, maybe I'm being a bit dim here.I know what it *means* to do keyword research. I understand the basics of it. I know how important keywords are, and I know how to use them effectively in a white hat manner. However, I'm not having success, so I think I'm approaching the situation wrong. What...
