Sorry - saw another thread on this but can't find it now...
We used to be able to insert a background color in text capsules - and it adds a nice emphasis in shorted capsules such as quotations, and short "asides". I can't ind a button or whatever to do this now - maybe not looking in the right spot? Is this no longer available?
When selecting capsules in edit mode you can select “callout” for the uses you mentioned. I think the background is grey and don’t think you can select a color.
Thank again, Rochelle - I think I've got it now, thanks to your message. Also, I found a thread on correct usage which was very helpful.
Embarrassing, but I had seen the thread on callouts before, but had no idea what they were. Then I found a thread about that too LOL
That's right, Rochelle. Grey it is. Then, there is the classic, which is a white background, and a quote format.
Well, thanks again - I've been away from HP for a while and just getting back this last few months. Looking to optimize my existing articles. The ones on the vertical sites certainly do better than the rest. But that's off topic
Found the callout capsule - I've seen it used on other articles of people I follow, and it's sure nifty way to add emphasis.

How do you get a background color on text capsules. The message says 'justify right to get background color' but how do you justify the text?

The biggest issue I have with all capsules having to be full width is that there now seems to be no provision for sidebar content. I've had to eliminate several sidebar text capsules because although they have supplementary information that would be useful for the reader, they just can't be fitted...

First, thanks to darkside's post, I was able to improve my hubs for Top Ten Reasons Why The Philippines Is A Great Tourist Destination.I can't however, put a background color on the toggled text capsule. Silly me, but I can't see which one to click/activate. It still says - available only when...

For the last three days everytime I try to cut and paste from one capsule to another, a blurb comes up stating something like "All pasted material will be automatically cleaned up" to which it gives me a choice of "okay" or "cancel". When ever I press 'okay' the pasted...

A suggestion:Would it be possible for the Hubteam to add the feature to the text capsule for Quotations, to be able to change the background to the blue or gray?We can do this when we move the text to the right and make it smaller, but it would be helpful to be able to leave the text capsule at...
