Any chance we could have the facility to do this?

Is this for equations and what they stand for? Or why would you need a right justify?

EDIT: You can get a center justify using the quote option from within the text editor (not the callout capsule)

Yes, I had equations in mind.

Does the quote option centre justify? I have used it before, but I thought it only indented text a quarter of the way.

I am not sure that's how it should be a slight indent but better than none at all. The closest to a centre justify.

Can you not use tables for equations? I guess symbols can't be entered in tables or is there another problem?

I haven't tried using tables, but I don't want to have a border around equations. (can table cells be made borderless?)

Again I'm not sure you can check. There are two to three styles available.

I wish all articles were justified too, just looks so much neater and professional. We are writing magazine-style articles after all smile

Just checked that. It only indents a small amount.
Right justify probably wouldn't be absolutely necessary although for articles about letter writing, it would be useful for showing how the address is written.

Even if we could do it in the HTML, without HubPages going to the trouble of coding extra buttons for alignment, it would be useful.

Actually what I'm really looking for is indented paragraphs rather than centre justification. The latter is fine for e.g. titles, but not for a block of text such as the derivation of an equation.

I explained how to do this in one of my tutorial hubs, tip 17 in “Strategy Tips for Being Successful as a Writer on HubPages”

Use a table capsule and make it just one column and one row. Then set that single cell for Left, Right or Centre Alignment as preferred.

Eugene, You will not have borders since only one cell is used.

Thanks Glenn. Is there any way of creating a new line without forcing a word wrap? I tried shift enter but that didn't work.

Eugene, You're right. There is no workaround that I could find to force a new line or new paragraph in a single cell. So it's not a good solution for mathematical equations that require more than one line.

A solution to display complex equations would be to make it in MS Word, then take a screen image snapshot, crop as necessary, and display it in your hub with an image capsule.

I tried copying line feeds and carriage returns to the clipboard from a hex editor, but that didn't work either. So they either don't copy, or get stripped out from the table.

You and I did the same thing. I tried all that, forcing line feeds and carriage returns. They all get stripped out.

Also, just one row may not be sufficient, right? I cannot think of any equation with just one variable that needs explanation.
