Hello all, I'm currently working on an article that explores some astonishing plot similarities between two characters from separate franchises. Only thing is, one's from a movie series and the other from a video game. Thus, I wonder whether (assuming it's of high enough quality) the article would be a better fit for ReelRundown or LevelSkip.
My thoughts are LevelSkip, since most people know of the movie franchise (Star Wars) but only gamers will probably know of the video game one (Fire Emblem). My condolences to the poor sap who has to puzzle this one out.
I would submit it to LevelSkip if you think that is the best fit. HP editors will move it to another niche site if they decide it will do better there.
I recently submitted an article to the niche site I thought was the best fit for my article, and it ended up in another niche site which I personally would not have chosen. I emailed HP about it, as I thought it could have been an error on their end, and they said they would review it, and it's still on that other site. I have decided they know what they're doing and must think the article will do better on the niche site they chose for it.
Thanks for your story. Maybe also look at your article's views; if it's doing well where it's at, no harm leaving it there.
From my experience, which is very limited, I find that Hub editors decide where to put my articles, or sometimes override my choice.
Maybe just write it and then see where it's moved to. It's up to the editors anyway, I think.

I don’t want to make too big a deal of this. My interactions with editors over the past few years have been very positive and I appreciate their work. There are some excellent people on the HP editorial staff today. However, I think there is always room for improvement, suggestions, and constructive...

I've written several 1000-1300 hubs and they have the featured status, but none have been transferred to a niche site yet. I'm glad that HP has implemented changes for search engine optimization, but sometimes it's unfortunate because I know I am losing potential views and earnings. 7 years ago I...

Its been more than a week since I received an email about it and I am still seeing my notification that they are...
