    I get this message when I click on the magnifying glass to do a search.
    Did I opt out somehow, or is this a bug?

    It's to do with the cookie consent and behaviour tracking for ads.

    I get the same message and I'd like to have the option to change my settings so that I can search the sites. I don't know where to do that though.

      Another option is to go here and click the link under "Contact/Manage"

    Go to your computer's control panel and "delete browsing history and cookies". Then, when you go to hubpages.com and log in, you will be given the option to consent to cookies.

    Thanks, that sorted it. I think I cleared my cookies at some stage and then only selected some of the check boxes in the agreement.
