“I believe in God, but not as one thing, not as an old man in the sky. I believe that what people call God is something in all of us. I believe that what Jesus and Mohammed and Buddha and all the rest said was right. It's just that the translations have gone wrong.”
    ― John Lennon

"Omnism" seems to be the best philosophical theory.

I never judge and what is true for you is true for you.

Who knew Omnism would agree with our main man John? He was before his time. big_smile

His song "Imagine" says it all.

You are right. Hopefully, someday our sociological technology will catch up with our physics technology.

That would be tough because you can't measure a spirit.

I meant to say "can't" measure a spirit.

Other species do teamwork. Our species is still stuck in the stone age, has to do with our initial survival. If we can't solve it tech-wise, I hope we'll get an evolution-break.

And then there is something else. What if we get "a knock on the door"? Something that draws us together?

Because we have gotten this far and survived, we are looking for solutions, so we can continue to survive.

          But at what stage?

            It's not a stage. It's continuous.

Right again. As in millennium. Dinosaurs took how many? You are the most intelligent conversation I have had here in years. I can't wait to see what destroys that.

I happened to have discovered the next keyword. Years ago. But Google wont stand for it. But it will make an excellent forum title somewhere down the line. Or someone can pay me for it now.

Thanks. Your thread has triggered my thinking about it. I will never post it here, it does have financial value.
