Greetings everyone, hope you are having a productive day thus far.

I received an email from the Hubpages' team stating that one of my hub ( I don't know which one) has been selected for an hub pro premium edit.

Even though the hub in question wasn't stated, I however have my suspicion - my most viewed hub.

I have done some digging on premium edits, but I'm not sure what to expect, and how to proceed from here.

Can someone share their helpful experience with the hub pro premium edit?

It has been 100% positive on three of my articles. Very pleased with it. Your editor should work with you through the process.

All good. I think it's healthy for an editor to work WITH a writer as both can benefit. You might get to learn something new and gain fresh insights into your own writing; the editor will gain valuable experience. Just keep an eye on the edits and be prepared to step in if you're not happy. The process itself is fascinating and is one you shouldn't fear.

I just went through it on one my highest traffic hubs.  I wasn't entirely happy with the results.  BUT traffic is way up on that hub so I'm not changing a thing.  Now they are working on another of my hubs that never got a lot of traffic so I'm hoping for the same big bump in traffic.

Five of my articles have been edited thus far with Hub Pro Premium before they were moved to niche sites. I have no complaints whatsoever.

Thanks for your feedback everyone, and I’m hoping to see some great results.

The editor has contacted me, and from all impression so far - she quite a professional who knows exactly what needs to be done.

All of my premium edits have had positive results. I am very happy with the ones they have done, and hope they will edit more! The editors are great. Watch your e-mail, sometimes they will ask questions that will help them improve your article. When they are done, they will also send you an e-mail to let you know its done. You get a link so you can see what changes were made, and you can e-mail your editor if you have any concerns.

I thought they only proedited articles already getting a lot of traffic already, no?  I wouldn't mind them messing around with my articles that don't get much traffic since there wouldn't be anything to lose and everything to gain.  As for the ones that are already getting a lot of traffic and are positioned at a high rank, it seems the old adage "If it ain't broke don't fix it," comes to mind.
