Amazing Job by Hubpro Basic

I always assumed that Hubpro Basic was some basic level editing to fix minor issues in spelling/grammar. But a new hub of mine was recently edited by HubPro basic before moving to Dengarden. The editor whoever s(he) was did an amazing job and I just wanted to say thanks. Unfortunately, I don't get an email address or contact person when the hub is edited through the basic feature.

If I'm not wrong, I see the HubPro Premium as a feature on high traffic hubs and always thought it was "premium editing", but the level of editing and work put in on this new hub is on par and maybe better than some cases of the premium editing.

Hey, lobobrandon, permit my inquisitiveness here. I assume Hubpro is purely on the invitation, right? Why are they not enough authors leveraging on it on HubPages?

We always get on the basic or tutorial hubs. I am at home on these twos. I had published/featured articles. Perhaps, an author had to reach a certain level of writing skill before being invited? Many thanks.

I don't really understand what you just asked me. Could you phrase it differently?

HupPro basic was something that was done on a new hub of mine that was eligible to move to a niche site, but this move would only be done if some minor edits were made. I did not have to apply for it. If you write a hub that is eligible to be moved with minor edits, you would also receive this edit.

I've had them do some great work on things without even doing the HubPro Basic. A couple times an editor just grabbed my new thing, and made me go 'wow, why didn't I think of arranging it that way? What's wrong with me, anyway?'

    Heh. Seriously though.

I'm not exactly sure what you are asking either.  I think all article go through basic editing - that's what the the little symbol is next to the title on the stats page means - that the article has been edited. You can click on it to see what changes were made.  But then some articles are selected to go through Hubpro Premium - you get an email saying that it's been selected and that editing will start soon.  There is also a notification at the top of the stats page saying one of your article was chosen for the Hubpro Premium program.  Neither basic or premium editing is initiate by the writer.  If this isn't what you are asking, please rephrase and hopefully I or someone else can take another stab at it.

@both lobobrandon & Natalie: what I ask is now put in another way: does Hubpages invite an author to write the HubPro? But from both your conversations, I understood a published article was just selected for HubPro and editing initiated by informing the writer via, email, right? Thanks anyway.
