MTO News Trash Articles Now Fill Recommended Section?

   Did Maven acquire MTO News?  I have found many of my articles have new recommended sections that are mostly filled with articles that go to MTO News written by MTO staff.  I did a quick search and found thousands of articles on HP Niche sites where this is also the case.
   This site is worse than the National Enquire, and the articles linked to go against everything HP has set forth as rules and have said they have done to please Google.  These articles are filled with unsubstantiated gossip about celebrities, sensationalism, fluff and sex.  One of my articles actually links to one about some rappers teenage daughter who has gotten back together with her boyfriend which also includes a video of them having sex!  What the heck is going on?  There are way too many strange changes and additions that HP seems to be sneeking into our articles and the site in general without saying a word about it to us.  I have contacted them and am waiting for an answer but I would recommend going through your articles and seeing if your recommended section includes completely inappropriate articles that will definitely get us in trouble with Google.  There are so many things we constantly have to be careful of and the site is supposed to be family friendly. I was offended by the video in that article - I can imagine many people who might see that being completely turned off and never visiting HP again.  I have no idea how long this has been going on for as I don't look through all my articles regularly.  I just happened to catch it when I went to update one.  This is really not good and it's about time staff came clean with us about plans for HP in terms of the site and our articles.  I have to say it but the quality is sinking and it looks more and more like we will be absorbed by Maven sooner rather than later.
   
   I plan to review all my articles frequently from now on to catch any other potentially harmful changes.

         Edit:  I have decided to leave this thread up in the hopes that maybe staff will be more likely to see the issue and address it if there is more than one conversation going.

      I just went to maven dot net and you were right! MTO comes up under entertainment gossip. I cannot believe Maven picked up this trash and is forcing us to have it placed on our articles.
      
      It comes up as it's own website like several other Maven "channels" or what have you. There is no Maven key, or any other identifying way to let you know that it belongs to Maven, but it is there under the find your Maven nontheless.
      
      Needless to say I'm VERY disappointed in the way this is all going down.

   It seems now that some of the articles listed as recommended from MTO aren't there but a number still are and the recommended articles seems to be rotating faster than normal so who's to say if they won't return. 
   
   The current problem is that they still show up as metadata (I think this is the correct term for this but not certain) in searches.  It also makes it appear as if MTO staff is writing all the articles which is clearly a major problem.  Here are a few examples that came up when I did a quick search.

   These are just a few instances of many I saw a couple of minutes ago.  The only niche sites I searched were Dengarden Healdove and Delishbly but results showed up in all three so seems likely it applies to at least some if not all other niche sites.
   
   I'd really appreciate it if staff could explain what this is and where it's all coming from.  If it's being done on purpose I'd like a clear explanation why and how it won't hurt us.  I can't help but continue to have the sense we are only here to benefit Maven and once they no longer need us and they've recruited the few authors they intend to HP and the rest of us will be phased out.  I admit this impression comes from the lack of communication by staff making me feel like HP authors are the poor step-siblings of Maven.  Would love to hear otherwise.

      As someone who migrated to Hub Pages fairly recently after a site in the UK went downhill, I am very alarmed by this news. It feels like I am only just learning the ropes for Hub Pages, but the signs are not good for the future.
