Why don't infobarrel close my account?
It's been 3 days since I've sent a message to infobarrel to close my account and all my associated articles but nothing is being done. These articles can't remain on there indefinitely, I want them removed and out of google index and search engines. I am not interested in that site anymore. If anyone had the same problem and got it solved, what did you do? Please share with me. Thank you so much.

I had a terrible time closing my infobarrel account. I discussed it in my Google plus A/C about two years ago. I kept writing to the site, but all the posts were really old and nobody answered me. I persisted, and finally someone from there when onto my Google + A/C and trashed me, but did close the account so I got my work back. They are very difficult to deal with and I don't know if anyone is even running it anymore. Good luck.
Hey Will, where have you been keeping your cantankerous a$$?
Spent a lot of time in London and a few weeks in Holland and France. Got a heart attack patched up at a hospital overlooking the Houses of Parliament. Realized I could no longer afford to live in the rich people's world. Came home and am now sharpening my knife collection.
The recent traffic debacle was really messed up my plans. So don't expect too much of the milk of human kindness, lol. But I am trying...
How is hurricane land?
We managed to survive the last one, Will. Without power for a few days but we had generators to get us by. Good to hear from you!
Hi Jean,
The thing is I didn't bother filling in the missing info such as agreeing to the latest ad t&c's and paypal email which they've requested a few years ago. The account is not updated and the articles are just lurking there for no reason. They are 7 years old and no earnings have been accrued at all. I've noticed the ads are still placed on my work, and I'm guessing whoever clicks on those ads, infobarrel takes the revenue which is wrong.
If they treat their customers (the writers) like this then no one will contribute to their site. It will put most of us off and its bad for business.
Who's the chap that trashed you on G+? Maybe I should give it a try and see what happens.

People have suggested I join Infobarrel so I did. I unpublished and deleted a hub here about La Guancha in Tenerife and thought I would use it as my first InfoBarrel article. The first problem I ran into was it said I was using a keyword too much. The keyword was roses and I was saying that there...

So it seems I have a predicament. I don't have an Adsense account as over at IB they manage it for me, and I don't need one. I do however need one here...I thought if I just went with enabling the hub pages ad program I could disable the adsense and it would be cool, but now I see I still have to...

I had posted a few articles on Infobarrel to see how they would do. I noticed they had too many ads, such as Chakita, Amazon, Google and Info-links. I felt it diluted my options for Google earning and ask them to remove my articles. They sent me asking for the last digits of my...

I just reviewed a blog about Info Barrel and it sounds like a good site for building revenue and backlinks. Dose anyone have experience with this new site and is it worth the effort? The blog and site are <snipped links>

Here's an announcement (dated Aug 11) from Harlow-McGaw, the owners of Daily Two Cents, Writedge, and other sites:"It saddens us to say we will be shutting down all our sites at the end of the month. We just can no longer afford to keep them going at a loss since we have so few active writers...

Yes, I understand, the algorithm could settle. I'm not holding my breath though. What can Hubpages do to appease Google?I can see nothing less than:- Taking out the bottom 40% of articles in terms of quality.- Pre-approving each and every article like InfoBarrel. - Removing ALL duplicate content. -...
