I noticed a copyright circle next to one of my pethelpful articles and the site it is on has a ton of pethelpful articles on it and no way to contact them. Most of the site is not even in English. Will HP or Google be able to take the site down? Is there another way to file a DMCA with the site?

For anyone with Pethelpful articles the site is bedma dot ru. Only one of my articles has the copyright symbol, but I've found another one of mine on the site through a Google search.

EDIT: Articles are only about dogs and cats.

Neither HP nor Google will take it down without you filing a complaint.  Google will do it then...if it is on a google site; if not, then they will do nothing unless you file with Google to have it de-indexed.

How do I know if it's a Google site? I'm assuming it's not going to be as most of the site is not in English.

Is it the same process to file a de-index request as it is to filing a dmca complaint?

I've never had to contact Google directly before. I've always been able to find contact info to file the dmca's myself.

You will have to look up who the hosting site is.  That's generally a far better option anyway, as few thieves will pay any attention to a DMCA.  But most hosts (unless they're in China or Russia) will, and will take it down.

There is a hub on my carousel that will walk you through finding who the host is.
