Stolen Articles

I had two articles stolen last month and filed DMCA's on both. One was definitely taken down and the second when I try to go to the link that HP gave me in the warning it says
"Error Establishing Database Connection."  Whenever I try to go to the site through other servers without using the link I get the same message.  Does this mean there's a problem currently with the database which means nothing about whether the article is still there or does it possibly mean the article is gone?  Thanks.

That could mean that the entire site is down, or gone.

    That would be good.

Natalie, when my articles are stolen (it happens a lot) and it is a .ru or chinese site I do not even try to file a DCMA. They never steal my traffic since they are rated way down on the search engine results, and in a few months they almost always disappear anyway. (Like the one you are describing.)

Right but they were in English and being used as a place to stuff keywords about goose pate or some such nonsense every other sentence.  I did a lot of work to get them down and just wasn't sure if the second one was down or it was just a problem with the site and would pop back up when they fixed it. I get the same message today so I'm hoping that the site is just down and it seemed to be nothing but stolen content all used to stuff full of goose pate.  I've never had goose pate before, only chopped liver from chicken livers and while it may be a delicacy you can use to stuff mushroom or olives, I prefer my articles to be pate free big_smile Thanks!
