I want to write simple minded stuff for a while. How do I get a second account that has earnings potential, ie adsense affiliation, if I have to use a new email, or is that not an issue?

The new email is just for you to login to HP, etc. You use your same Adsense ID on the new account.

I have lost track of the email providers I have started accounts with, solely to use once and never return.

I should feel bad about it, I suppose.

      Somehow, I can't, lol.

I always use gmail, but I lost track of the number of accounts I have for such stuff lol. I have 2 more HP accounts, I can't for the life of me remember the emails I used. I can't even remember the username of one of them. They had just 2 articles each anyway. Both not good enough to be on a niche site. I was testing the waters on a new niche.

I have a few like that from way back. Completely wiped out by Panda.

Codegate might have given them a new toxic role in HP affairs. I hope not.

Interesting that the most shocking page that I could think of writing whilst slightly drunk last night was about burning plastic in the backyard, lol.

I reckon I have become irrevocably staid.

Is that what you were doing last night? Burning plastic yikes

Reminds me a bit of my junk mail powered home heating system. I really need to add extra parking space for those mail delivery trucks.

"How to Burn Plastic in Your Back Yard"
            That sounds like a winner.
Or were you thinking of a sopaboxie type article on "Why You Should Not Burn Plastic in Your Back Yard"?

I actually find it genuinely shocking that anyone would burn plastic at any time. My neighbours in Thailand do it all the time. It is a sort of chemical warfare and, if you got Freudian about it, a perfect way to express your unconscious hatred of all life forms. Dioxins don't care if you are a human or a rabbit.

On the other hand, when I was in London this year, the recycling regime was harsh. If you didn't wash every plastic container so that it sparkled, the recyclers would dump the whole carefully sorted bag onto your doorstep. Tempting to roast them slowly over a polystyrene bonfire, lol.

Is there an advantage to a second account?

      Other than anonymity, not really.

I can write pages like "Ten Kinds of Plastic That are Okay to Burn in Your Backyard".

And there was me thinking that you were going to start a romantic poetry account! wink

The email thing is a pain. I have 11 accounts, all with different emails. I kind of wish I could consolidate some accounts. They're a result of some accounts migrating over from Squidoo and also not wanting to put all my eggs in one basket during the subdomains era.
