Got a big eye opener today

Today I got an email telling me that one of my earliest hubs is going to be edited by Hub Pro Premium.  I was curious, so took a look.  OMG!  The images were done long before I knew much about how to do them.  They were horrible!  So, even though the hub is going to be edited, I put new ones in and what a difference this makes!  I'll be interested to see if the editor keeps them or not, but this was a real eye opener for me.  I'm going to go back to some of my older articles and revamp where needed.  After 6 years I didn't realize just how much I had learned and how making these kinds of changes will help.  There's a lesson here for all of us, I think, so just wanted to share.

I know, I still have to revamp lots of my hubs, but don't have much free time at hand. I mainly used my own photos, but last year I lost most of them due to an external harddisc drive of which I had forgotten to make a backup from. Some of the photos I can retrieve from HP again, but others I have to remake or replace. Besides that most old hubs really need a text overhaul too, but as I said, little spare time. Maybe this winter.

Yes, some our old hubs are dreadful. I've had the same experience. I do my best to keep updating but there are many that get missed, can make me cringe.

I'm the same, due to family commitments I haven't been on Hub Pages for a while and at the moment I'm editing old hubs - omg what a shocker! lol

I have been going through my older ones as I have time, either deleting ones that can't be salvaged or fixing ones that could do with an update. I LOVE the hub pro edits I have received.

At least you guys have 100's. I still am afraid to look at four of my hubs that I have not touched in ages. I know that at least 3 of them are horrible.

It kind of has a cleansing effect on me.  Feels good to do the updates once they're done!  It is less overwhelming if you do one or two a day...especially when you have "hundreds" of them, as I do.
