Motivates one to write more hubs, which I haven’t done in years.

I just think of the superstars that are making 10 times the Amazon sales I make..

That's a lot of orders for such a short time!  I generally get lots of views (however right now, not so much due to the glitch and time of year), and I do get orders regularly, but nothing like this.  However, once in awhile I'll get a really big one that pays hundreds....THOSE I love! lol.

Wow!  What do you do - sell a new motorhome? smile

I'm more like Michael - lots of little items, few of them paying over $10 commission.  But it all adds up, so I'm not complaining.

Nope...no such luck.  However, I've had a few that have brought in more than $300 from time to time.  Really helps the bottom line!

I guess!  I think my largest was a flat screen several years ago that brought in something like $100.  It was before the Amazon program, unfortunately, so did not get the 8%

On the other hand I've got one item that averages nearly once a day, and brings in about $8 every time.  Makes up for not having some big items.

It is.  I've had an Amazon sale every day since early October, and some of the highest CPM's ever.

It's a good time to be on HubPages, thanks to the efforts of the crew there.

I agree..but I wish Google would finally correct the problem from last month.  Views, for me, continue to be about  30% lower than they should be.

I never did see the drop that some of you folks have mentioned.  It fell a little, but less than 10% and has recovered from that.  Never was sure it wasn't just a seasonal drop in any case, during the summer/early fall.

And the enormous CPM's more than made up for that.  They've fallen some as the Xmas season winds down, but are still very good.

That's awesome! I was just celebrating making an amazon sale almost every day for the first time ever myself. Nothing like yours, but still exciting to see.

How do you see the screen you snapped? I can only find the actual amazon sales.

From the stats page, "earnings", "earnings reports" and filter for "Amazon Program".

Congrats; my commissions for trading cards are usually less than 25 cents, but it adds up. Perhaps I should start reviewing more expensive products.

I am deeply humbled by the responses to my post..

It still boggles my mind that I make an extra pay check every month from articles I wrote years ago..

It certainly did not start out this way, I can still recall making just pennies a day..

My new goal is to make $40-$50 dollars a day consistently.

I wish everyone here much continued success, and to all the new members..if a slacker such as myself can do it...you can too!

    Happy holidays, team Hubpages!
