Do broken links effect Google rankings? Sometimes I'm hesitant to put informational links in articles because many seem to break over time and there may not be another good one to replace it with.
The effect if any is very minuscule. It is better to have good links when possible so don't let the possible disappearance of a link stop you from linking out.
Never thanked you for this - so thanks ! Have a great holiday and new year, Brandon!

Can anyone tell me what is a broken link, and how do you fix it?

Ok, this keeps happening to me. Well, two things with broken links. Both are annoying.1) There is a broken link warning; I go to edit the hub and fix or delete said link, and the broken link warning does not go away. I then re-check the entire hub, to make sure there was not more...

I have what appears to be way too many broken links - the links are to my own hubs. Testing the links, I see that the little link thingy on the accounts page seems to be off, as those hubs are still there. Anyone else have this problem?I clicked the button for a retest.

57..... better do them after I've waited until my other hubs get unpublished......There's a rat in my kitchen what am I gonna do?......

There are too many things going on right now that shouldn't be, like banning an account for someone that was editing, and the new broken links coming up with 404 errors that should have been 301 redirects.So....are there more bugs, or what's going on?

The broken links report showing a broken link in one of my Hubs but when I go to the Hub in edit mode I cannot find any such link. This has happened a few times now. I would post a link to the affected Hubs but don't want to infringe TOS!
