Has anyone noticed a lot of broken links over the past week or so on their older, as well as some new hubs?  Just wondering because I had at least 12 to fix over past week. Most of them were older hubs. But there has been two to three each day. It seems as though it  has slowed down somewhat over the past few days. Thanks for your feedback in reference to this topic.

      Hello RBE:

I like your cat and I think that you are basically right-there has been a failure on the internet lately. Thanks for your input as well Lobrandon. When I am referring to broken links, I mean a word within my article...(ie.) dog, or cat that is highlighted. Sometimes this word or whatever else I hyperlink in my article shows up in yellow. So I either have to unlink that word in my article by re-editing it, or simply substitute that word with another. Than click on finish editing. That usually takes care of all of my broken links. Thanks again for all of your feedback.

If you have used the "suggest links" tool then there have been a lot of hubs unpublished over the last few months..... My main problem is usually youtube videos which seems to have also off loaded a lot of content..

If it is through interlinking to other people's hubs, some people with a lot of hubs have left or been banned, so that would show up if you were linked to any of their pages. I mean people with hundreds of hubs that are no longer here.

      Hi 2Tuesday:

None of my existing articles are linked to other peoples pages, or articles. Usually I do not like doing them for certain reasons, or do I like backlinking a lot either. To date I have never had any of my hub articles banned or unpublished for any reason. Not to say that couldn't happen in the future. Just have to be careful and follow the rules of the community. Thanks for you feedback and help with this this topic as well

    Hi Lean Man:

Haven't had any problems with broken links using You Tube videos. But have found the broken links only in older hubs that I had written. A few hyperlinked words in my article, as I mentioned in a previous post, were highlighted in yellow. Suggesting to me that I unlink that word, or words, or simply remove that word alltogether. In fact I found another one a few hours ago, which I had to unlink. Thanks for your feedback as well.

    Hi Kimberly:

And thanks for chiming into this forum I started. You know I do not use links anymore in my articles. And haven't done so in about two months. Believe it or not, even without the links, which supposedly will increase you overall Karma and hubber score. I really have seen no difference when I use, or do not use links in my articles. So from here on out, I am not hyperlinking any words in my article. I guess like you mentioned-it was driving you insane as well. Absolutely right about this and thanks again for your input!

Thanks J I gotta tell ya I would even sell but deliver my 99 Karma waste of space points for one working link and I think there is so much positive that is gained from us promoting each other, 2 years ago we did this no Karma and never heard if a link didn't work unless it was tried and dead.

There has to be a better solution or trash the idea, and Karma is such a weird name anyway, do people even know how many karma points they have?  It use to be posted above profile pic remember?

My biggest and dumbest point is apparently [who knows anything and everything counts] these points are in part a fairly good sized part in what your author score reads lol oh boy maybe that's why I dropped 4 points in 2 hours this morning that or the hijacking of threads lol

      Thanks J
