Has anyone had success using Flipboard? I've used it in a limited way and once had a nice spike in views when someone added one of my article links to their magazine on Flipboard. Does anyone have any tips regarding using Flipboard effectively?
I started using Flipboard in early 2016 and for a while, it was effective for me. I followed the usual rules for such sites, ensured I don't only bookmark my own sites, read those of others, follow-and-follow, comment, etc. In mid 2016, I actually had quite a few spikes thanks to them.
And then, beginning from 2017, the service became some sort of anti-Trump, left wing lobbyist. Every day it would notify me of some anti-Trump write-up, when politics is but one of my topics. (I have travel, Singapore, photography too. Nada from those genres nearly the whole year). On examining, I notice Flipboard is now only displaying pages from major magazines and such, personal blog pages and lesser sites that used to appear no longer do so. Frankly, I had not one hit from them for over six months. In fact I just uninstalled the app from my phone before Christmas.
Not worth your time. It was outstanding the first few weeks and then became stagnant. I stopped using it quite awhile ago. Ironically, they would not let me delete my account even though I tried to do so several times...so I simply removed my own articles
I have been using Flipboard for around 2 years, but GA never recorded any views whatsoever from the network. I don't know why. I didn't have the app installed on my mobile at first, but then I used it. And frankly, it does not improve my reading experience at all. The images take forever to load and nobody seem to be using a flip button anywhere on their website.
Within HP, the referrals section previously recorded hits from Flipboard for me.
And then it went stagnant. Completely stagnant.
I've had similar experiences. I used it for a while with some decent results which then tapered off. Every month or so I'd go back and add something, bookmark a few others, make a few comments etc and get a quick uptick which would level off. It became more effort than it was worth. I also seem to remember something kind of shady going on but don't remember exactly what that was - some peoples articles being flipped by others but the bylines left off or something like that? Anyone else remember?
I used Flipboard for it bit. My articles peaked a bit then nothing. Then, the app's format changed and nothing. I uninstalled it. Regarding bylines issue, I vaguely remember that thread. Yes. I believe bylines were dropped.
Thanks everyone for your input regarding your experience using Flipboard. I also had a flash in the pan success, which was quite impressive, even though it only lasted a few days. I see that is much less likely these days and there are better places to spend my time.
I removed most of my flips when they started attributing our articles to the wrong authors. I warned about that a year ago in my hub on Flipboard.

I've had several hundred views from Flipboard in the last couple of days for a page that I did not flip myself. Assuming no one here took pity on me and flipped it, that is my first legit traffic from that site.Anyone else getting a good result from the new button?

Flipboard is a bit like Pinterest, as far as I can tell. I get traffic from it occasionally and am wondering about trying it.

I have a flipboard account. I created magazines. Flipboard says I have 20 articles posted to the site. Where are they? I'm trying to see them so I can move them into magazines..

Just curious if people are still using Flipboard, if so, whether they are getting traffic from there and how often the flip articles other than their own into their magazines. Wondering if it's worth it to spend time searching for articles to flip so have a good base to flip my own. ...

OK, so I hear about Flipboard and see some saying they get some traffic from it, so I sign up. I make a magazine, and put two hubs in it. I have no idea if I'm doing it right, but one of those hubs has an increase of over 2,000 views within a few hours. I want more, whether that...
