Where is Best to File DMCA Takedown Notice?

    Hi all!  Is it best to file a DMCA Takedown Notice with the site itself, the web host, Google, or all three?

      Web host is the most effective. I had one recently that I had to file with all three. It's gone now. I also sent them an invoice, that usually works too big_smile

        An invoice?  Really?  How much did you charge?  That is absolutely outstanding!

        Oh, how long did it take for them to take down your articles?

          I've sent three invoices out... and two of them paid up big_smile I even ended writing a ton of articles for one of them at $50 per 1k words.

          Um... it depends what benefit I think they are getting from them. Around $150 - $250.

          I don't usually expect them to pay, but it seems to galvanize them into action big_smile

          So, yes a couple of days at most.
