    Hi Hubbers,
I have an article that is getting a lot of traffic from Pinterest while other articles have zero views. How can I replicate this to the rest of my articles.

I would look closely at what makes the article that is getting a lot of attention different from the others. Pinterest works better for certain topics, like home decorating, advice for new moms, and parenting info etc. You could make changes to the other articles to more closely resemble the one that is getting a lot of traffic. Also, sometimes certain articles just don't do as well as others and it's hard to always pinpoint why.

      Hi Danielle,
It is mind boggling when one article gets a quarter of the total traffic. I have 61 articles and I have pinned all of them to my boards. This one article in particular gets many hist per day while some get zero. I am working on SEO to improve the traffic. Thanks.

I have a question that I've been meaning to ask for a long time.

Do we get paid for Pinterest traffic?

From examining AdSense, I'm quite convinced Facebook traffic is good only for SEO; there's barely if any $$ involved. Is that the same for Pinterest?

A lot of net earning articles online state social media traffic is worthless when it comes to revenue. Since social media traffic is easily faked or boosted, I'm incline to agree.

From reading other threads and comments by experienced hubbers, I was under the impression that traffic counted whether via Facebook or Pinterest.

        Hi Eurofile,
Some hubbers swear by social media while others do not even bother. I think it depends on the kinds of articles/niches.

As far as I can tell, it is of the same value as Facebook and Flipboard (which is to say hardly anything). It mattered a lot years ago, when I was happy to see any number of visitors to my pages.
At this point it is not worth the effort. I have seen my articles shared on social media sites and had bumps of about 10,000 page views per day. The payout is virtually the same. (Unfortuately we cannot see the CPM for each article, just for the sum of our articles. If a hub is shared and gets an extra 10,000 page views on FB, we cannot be sure that the CPM is lower.)

You are opening a pandora box when it comes to social media and revenue - it depends on the article.  A couple of days ago, I posted an older article on a FB Group page. It is all red triangles (arrows) and climbing. My revenue is up as well. I deduct that social media works. Now, it might not work for all my articles, but it did for this one.  I agree with Danielle method to all this madness.

      Hi Kenna,
Pinterest has a lot of traffic potential but it disappointing when it comes to earnings from the traffic one receives.
