More angry questions

When the Q and A first started, it was very enjoyable to me to help people with their issues.  However, in the last month or so, I'm seeing increasing numbers of things that really aren't questions at all.  They're criticisms and some are quite angry ones.   I simply delete them, but it bothers me that these people are using the Q and A format to make nasty comments about me or my content.  Things such as "You don't know what you're talking about", "Do you even own or have ever owned an RV" and "I want to see documentation that proves what you said" (even when I do document content"...are very upsetting.  I don't want to shut off the Q and A, but if this nastiness continues, I'll have to do so.  I also noticed that nobody is making comments anymore...they're using the Q and A instead.  At least with comments I could respond without having the editors remove what I say as with the Q and A, so this whole thing presents a real problem for me.

You could always shut it off for a while to get a rest from it, then turn it back on later. That's what I’m doing. I have mine turned off at the moment, and do so when I’m too busy to deal with Q&A.

D'you think it's the same person?

I do think that some of them are coming from the same person, but can't be sure.  I mean, some of them aren't even questions!  I don't think that statements such as "where's your proof" really qualify as appropriate questions.  Most of them are "how to" type questions, which I have no problem with whatsoever.  I hate to cheat people from getting info because of a few jerks, but I may have to cut the Q and A off if this continues.  It's only in the past two months that I've noticed this problem.

You shouldn't take those nasty remarks personal. Delete them, forget them and move on. You know that you're an expert on RVing by having lived in them for a long time. You solved the problems that came on your path one way or other and are now sharing your experiences so other people don't have to re-invent the wheel again. Don't let those nasty people crawl under your skin, they're not worth one second of your thoughts.

Thank you...and you're absolutely right.  I've been having health problems lately so guess I'm more sensitive than normal.  Taking the advice from you and all of the others who posted here.  I so appreciate your support!

Sometimes people online are just annoying and frustrating to deal with. Not much can be done about it.

Those people are trolls. They push your buttons on purpose, because they want to upset you. I know it's easier said than done, but don't give them what they want.
