What's the point of a hubscore, and how does it rise and decrease?

    Just wondering.

I wish I knew because I noticed I've lost ground and I'm a little curious myself.

A search of the forums will turn up multiple threads on this also.

I believe it has to do with traffic on your hub because I've seen hubs made with images only (no text) taken from the Google public domain having the same score as good quality hubs with text and images (and the quality is really not comparable).

I take no notice of hubscore anymore,i have a hub that brings in 4000 views a month every month and still has a hubscore in the 80's smile

Once you pass 70-75 it really does not matter besides bragging rights.  Your links become DO FOLLOW after that.  I do think that once you get closer to 100 you have a better chance of being on the featured page on the HUBPAGES.COM homepage and your page/ hub gets indexed quicker.

It just is what it is. simple.  would it make a difference if you knew more?  wouldn't change anything.  let go of the obsession and enjoy the process.
