This article on The 10 Most Beautiful Beaches in the Philippines is very popular and I tried to add in-text link to my other Hubpages article on secluded beaches option ( I do get a lot of emails from people who have read my article and are still looking for a more secluded option) but it got snipped. I also added in-text amazon link on products that really connect to a beach life like snorkeling gear or water sports item. Again, they snip it. I did use an amazon capsule before and added personal description and I definitely used that product before on the beach but again, it was snipped. I don't understand why they always snip everything that I add on one of my most popular articles? They don't remove in-text amazon links in my not so popular articles. I don't see anything wrong with linking my other Hubpages article to my popular article because I think it will somehow benefit the reader looking for more secluded beach options. Plus it is also within Hubpages so I don't see why it will not be beneficial to them. I only added one or two amazon links plus the link to my secluded beach article and that's it. Hubpages had no problem linking my article to CNN Travel but wouldn't allow my secluded beach article in there. It is a bit frustrating so can anyone help me understand it?
You can't add Amazon links unless they are directly related to the content. If you are describing your experience of snorkelling, using a particular mask, that will work. If you are simply adding beach-related items, they'll be snipped - every time.
Your article is on Wanderwisdom. They do not want you to link to Hubpages, a lower quality site, as it may affect your traffic. If the article you want to link to is moved to Wanderwisdom later it will be fine to link to it. (Have you submitted it to be moved?)
As far as linking, choose the word snorkelling and then add something like (this is the brand of snorkelling mask that I bought from Amazon--it does not fog up and gives me a clear view when out checking out the ocean floor). If you have not bought something from Amazon, and have no experience using that gear, it is just going to be snipped.

Just curious, but does anyone have experience with this? How'd you do it? Did you tell Google the article moved somehow or do anything else fancy? Or did you just copy, paste, delete from HubPages, and wait for Google to catch up?Im guessing there might be some duplicate content penalties from...

Hi all!I had a Amazon product link removed because apparently it didn't meet the necessary requirements. The link went out to the book I have used as a reference in the article and have paraphrased the authors' statements. Doesn't this imply that I have personally used this book? I own this book...

I've started writing more articles here after not being so active for a year or so. One of the reasons I was discouraged from putting time into HubPages was the removal of Amazon capsules. This had a hugely detrimental effect on my earnings, which plummeted around 80% since they were systematically...
