I have been active in HubPages from October 2018 and I am having a wonderful time. In the last couple of months, 4 of my articles were selected for HubPro Basic services with a view to move these articles to niche sites. Three of these articles are waiting to be moved to WanderWisdom and the other one to ToughNickel. For some reason, the articles have not yet moved to the niche sites. The earliest one is pending for nearly two months, the latest one is pending for over a week and the other two are pending for nearly a month. Is it normal for the editing queue to be long or am I the only one facing this issue?

PS - Seven of my earlier articles were moved to niche sites in very quick time in December 2018 and January 2019.

I have been writing for 2 months and still waiting on AdSense. The articles I write now get views but without Adsense, I won't get any revenue. How long did you  write before you began seeing any income?

Hi Cheryl. I am still waiting to get my AdSense account approved. At this stage, building engagement and traffic for my blogs is my focus. Once I cross these two hurdles, I hope it would be easier to get the approval.

How long have you been waiting?  The site says a few days so this is what I was going by.

I had Adsense decades ago an it was approved in a few days and my site was not even getting a lot of traffic.  I guess the rules have changed. Thanks for your input.

I have been trying from Oct 2018 onwards. I have a complex issue that is preventing me from getting the approval. Hoping that I should be able to overcome the same. The issue is somewhat similar to yours. Will keep you posted when I get lucky. The rules are lot more rigid as compared to earlier days. Creating good content helps.

Sometimes it goes like this. Frustrating.

If possible, go back in to the one that has been waiting the longest, edit (add some small amount of info, or change a sentence around) and resubmit. It might just jog things along a little.

It might not be possible though, I can't remember if the system will allow you to re-edit and re-submit.

Thank you so much theraggededge. I am having this confusion (typical of a newbie) whether tinkering with an already shortlisted article would adversely affect the chances of moving to niche site. I will wait for a week and start editing the articles one-by-one.

@theraggededge  I think it does allow you to re-submit (eventually).  But, to the best of my knowledge, it takes several weeks before you can.

Thank you Larry. You are right. It may allow us to resubmit the same articles twice. But everyone is allowed to submit only one article every fortnight. So if I am resubmitting the same article twice, it comes at the cost of not being able to move another deserving article. Is it a bad idea to shoot a mail to editors on whether I need to do something from my end to hasten the process?

Congratulations, that is good news. I just read your article on removing sugar from the diet and it looks very well laid out. (I have been trying to do this, but have not been successful.)
As far as your original question, I may have a suggestion. When I had one of my articles  pending last year it was taking months, much longer than normal. I wanted to change something, could not, so I ended up writing the editor and telling him to get on with it.
Have you received an email from the editor? Write that person and tell them you need your hub back.

Thank you so much DrMark1961. I would shoot a mail to editors on the same. I am glad you liked the article on the sugar free experiment. Hope you could give up sugar soon. This was the easiest way for me to subtract ten years from my age. I remember your candid feedback on few of my earlier articles that I moved from Squidoo. Such candid feedback only helped me in understanding my earlier mistakes (when you called a spade a spade). Please stay this open and candid always. Thanks again for your support.
