Hi Hubbers,
I submitted an article on June 18, 2024, but its status still shows as "Pending" even after 8 days. I'm concerned about the delay and would appreciate any guidance on what might be causing the holdup or an estimate of how long it typically takes for articles to be reviewed.
Thanks in advance for your help!
Bev has taken the time to offer you some excellent advice. Take and use it. Good luck!
Hi there,
I can see your article: https://hubpages.com/entertainment/posi … cial-media
There are several issues with it that I can see.
Firstly it reads like a personal blog post. HubPages wants informative magazine-style articles. Ones that answer possible search queries. So I'd suggest making it a little bit more formal rather than a personal opinion. You can still include an anecdotal paragraph.
You've put it in the 'entertainment' category, which is for things like TV and movies. Perhaps move it to a more suitable one.
Your images aren't credited. It's really important to know how to use images here because HubPages is a collection of commercial sites.

After you have read that, spend some time reading the other articles in the Learning Center. The style guide is very helpful.
Remove that link in the first paragraph, it isn't necessary and you don't want to be sending people off your page like that. However, you can add properly researched references at the end of the piece.
Get rid of the bottom image. HP discourages images with text on them. Use something more appropriate and move it up the page.
Good luck.
Thank you for your time and guidance. I appreciate your feedback on my writing. However, I would like to bring to your attention the post titled "Urban Sustainability," dated June 18, 2024.
You can't. You need to edit and improve the article until it is featured. Use the information in the Learning Center and read the articles on the network sites to see how a good article is written and formatted.

Evening. I'm new; so, I'm not aware if I made any overlook the rules on forum posting. With the article approval, is there a way to find what mistakes and rules that relate to unpublished articles so I know in what area I can improve and edit? The links are very helpful; but, they have too much...

I have revised the article 3 times. Removed links. Removed references to technology that is not even ours. There was never any sales language in it. It keeps getting rejected with no explanation of what is wrong with it. Why should we waste our time if there is no decent feedback?

One of my Articles is still pending. What possibly could it be? Help me please

Right now, while a Hub is pending, it doesn't show ads, it has a "no follow" tag etc. However our followers get notified and they may share the Hub during that time. It would be nice if that notification could be delayed, too.

Topic: Why don't titles show up in Google???For example, here's a good title, posted on Oct. 5; "Why American Kids Can't Do Math"Not found in Google. Why not? Many of my articles, on other sites, appear next day or in a few days. I'm not in a hurry. But hubpages places a lot of...

Can someone please tell me how much article score is required to get it featured? I literally published 3 articles as of now, 1st one got 50-something, and the rest two got in 60s but none of them got featured. And as I'm new to this platform, I'm still in boot camp so my non-featured articles...
