It might be that there are already too many "trimming roses" articles.

I think that's the case. Doesn't matter, it gets more views than my other rose article on Dengarden. smile

I have a lot of gardening hubs on Dengarden so I took a peek at yours.  I would eliminate all of the photos that don't show pruning techniques.  Your hub is about pruning, not rose gardens.  If you are going to discuss a unique pruning technique, you need to talk about how roses are normally pruned so that you can draw a contrast between the usual way of pruning and your way of pruning.  You need to show how and why your technique is better.  Also, your English is a bit awkward. I think that there are programs such as Grammarly that might be helpful.

How about rearranging the article so that it focuses on "how to keep roses healthy"? A search shows a lot of articles on keeping cut roses fresh and healthy, not much about keeping bushes healthy. You could emphasize trimming and deadheading, the same things you are aleady discussing, but just laid out in a different way.
Besides a new layout, I would recommend that you use your images in thumbnail fashion. It is going to increase your page load speed considereably as the numerous images you have, althougth nice to look at, are most likely hurting your page rank with google. (Embedded videos do not slow down load time, so it is my undertanding that they do not affect page rank.)
I dont think you should be satisfied with the traffic you have on Hubpages at this time. We all need to improve as often as possible. (Yes, I try to tackle a few articles a week.)

Thanks for your suggestions. Problem is I do have very little free time on hand right now. My lambing season ended with a rejected lamb, so that's quite time consuming  for the coming weeks.

Yes I definitely understand that. We do not have a lambing season here since they are born about every month. It is easier to take care of them, and a real problem if you have an orphan and no new mothers. Last month one of my ewes had triplets but I had no extra ewe to give the third one to. (She was able to raise all three!)

Drenthe Heath sheep never ever accept a lamb that's not their own. I've tried every possible method in the last 30 years, but those ewes can't be fooled.

I can't resist a pun on "fake ewes" but it doesn't quite work, lol.
