Twice I used multiple verses of scriptures it comes back as a duplicate content that's already been published.. Is there any way around this? How do I get this off my record of looking like I'm plagiarising?  Thanks.

Try using shorter quotes, perhaps? Or maybe put them into a call-out capsule to see if that works?

Or try to have ordinary text capsules between the quote capsules - perhaps a screen shot might help but not sure.

In addition to what theraggededge suggests, also try including a reference link to the source.

If you create a jpeg or png file of the verse, for example type the verse into a Paint document and save the document as a jpeg or a png, and then place it into your hub using a photo capsule rather than typing the words into a text capsule, it is my understanding that the words on this "photo" will not be picked up by text-reading applications, as the file is a photo rather than a text document. If that makes sense. So, it is a way of placing the words into your hub without them being "read" by Google or a duplicate content checker.

If you are handy with a decent graphics program, you can make the graphic very attractive, using a pretty (but easily-to-read) font on a colored background, add a border, or even add some small illustrations such as flowers or faces, or use a sunset or some other attractive photo for the background.

It's much easier to simply use the snipping tool in Windows. It's as fast as this:

      Less than a minute.

And of course you could copy and paste text into a pretty background in Word or wherever, then snip it.

You will lose the traffic from people searching to that quote to learn more about it.  I think it is probably to increase the non-quote material to the level HP wants rather than lose the search string.

That's a great point; anyone searching that quote will not find the article.

What I did in a couple religious articles with lots of verses is I paraphrased the verse in my own words and then right after I put the scripture reference.  It gets the same point across.
