I have a question maybe we can elaborate on.
Is adding a link capsule to another hub with either a short description or long description considered duplicate content?
When adding a link.. in the link capsule to another hub, the first paragraph in short is also displayed.
Could this be a negative in the eyes of the new google bot algorithm?
I'm just looking for ways that may be effecting some hubs differently than others but could be something to look into.
Anyone please chime in.
As duplicate content? I would say no, because linking capsules only display a short paragraph, just as a basic summary, which is taken directly from a hub.
I have many hubs internally linked to one another, because they are relevant to one another. The only thing I don't like about the link capsules is that if you change anything on the hubs you have linked to, then the link capsule has all older stuff, because it does not change automatically.

I am not sure if I am missing the information or if it isn't there. How do I remove links within my hub? I'm guessing this will remove the 'duplicate content' warning on my Hub. I have similar content on another site, but did revise it and it still says duplicate. any...

I would like to make a suggestion to the TEAM here on HUB Pages. I feel that it would be a positive improvement here on the HUB, if all of the activity that is perpetuated by Hubbers, were made known. For instance... apparently - anyone can go around giving thumbs UP or DOWN to a fellow...
