I need help in understanding my google adsense status.

    Hello guys, my google adsense shows active status on hubpages site.But when I go to the home page of google adsense, it shows a message :”We're working on setting you up
    This usually takes less than a day, but in some cases it can take a bit longer. We'll notify you when everything's ready. Then start earning money by placing ads.”

    My question is , why this message is displayed when hubpages shows google adsense already active? Infact I already have ads in my hubs and the html source code of my hubs already show the html code which google adsense had provided me

      Active may mean that you have taken steps to activate the program...it likely does not mean that the program has already started for you.  If they are "setting you up", there's your answer.  It takes time, but at some point it will kick in.  However, don't expect much because Adsense only places one ad on your articles, and it appears at the bottom of your hub, so it doesn't earn much.

    I got a reply from them today that my adsene account was not authorized due to lack of content. So in short google has rejected it. But surprisingly it still shows active on hubpages site.

    You need at least 10-15 hubs to get adsense, so start writing some more hubs. If you don't have adsense than you won't earn any money on HP.

    There is a runway in making money with HubPages. You need to write some more and keep at it, writing high-quality articles. It's worth it, but you have to work very hard to take off. Once Google Adsense activates your account that is the beginning of the process of making money, but it is no guarantee.
