I just submitted one of my articles to be considered for a network site. I then realized that a while ago, I had already submitted it to that same site, and it was denied. I haven't made any changes to the article since then, so there is no reason it would be approved this time. Is there a way I can withdraw my submission, so as not to waste editors' time? Plus, I'd like to submit a different article, but cannot do so for two weeks now because of this.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you!
- Justin
I don't believe that you can withdraw an article from submission. The queue of articles waiting to be assessed for transfer to network sites seems to be a long one, though, at least for some sites. You could try editing the article immediately and very quickly before it's viewed by a staff member.
How long is the queue for Dengarden, do you know? I've had one sitting in the queue for about 5 weeks now. Are we talking 2 months? 6 months? A year? I have one sitting in Remedygrove too. Just wondering when to expect some feedback. Thanks!
Sorry, I don't know. I have some articles on both Dengarden and RemedyGrove, but I didn't submit them there. My experience with the sites that I do submit articles to is that it can sometimes take several weeks. I expect the time varies depending on how many other articles need to be assessed and perhaps on other factors as well.
Hi, Amanda. I took a look at your account, and it looks like the article for Remedy Grove should be edited by our staff soon so that it can move. The article for Dengarden is also in our editing queue, but it won't likely be edited soon. If you'd like it to move, I suggest doing an edit yourself and then resubmit it. It's a really great article with awesome photos!
Thanks Robin, I appreciate you letting me know! Is the Dengarden editing likely to take weeks or months? I just submitted an article yesterday, so it will be at least two weeks before I could submit it.
Hi, Amanda. Actually, the article looks like it's higher in our queue than I previously thought! We will get to it soon, so you don't need to worry. Also, you should have received emails from us when the articles were sent to editing. You might want to double check that you're getting them after a submission. We always let authors know our decision when submitting.
Hi Robin,
That's great news, thanks! I did receive an email stating that the article had been chosen and placed in the editing queue. But that was over a month ago.

I have a message on the top of my account page... "You have been selected for HubPro basic.. We plan to edit your article ***** " It's been up there for like two weeks. How long until they do this?

They won't index any of the 40 or so articles I wrote on my blog or even the home page. They say it's low value content. The articles are short, maybe 500 words and some less, but I don't need to go beyond that if I can explain things in few words. If ranking of the network sites falls even...

I submitted 4 articles to network sites during the last two months including the latest one. I wonder how long should I wait for getting them approved. I hope the queue won't take more than 2 months to access my submissions. Am I wrong?

I know I could just write down when I've submitted an article to a network site, but I don't always do it and it would be handy to have a place where I could see when I submitted so that I know how much time I have before I can submit another one. Even just an automatic email that says I've...

Just now I wanted to comment on an article by Nell Rose on LetterPile.com but was unable to comment. I am already logged in to HubPages.com but can't log in to LetterPile. Why it is so? Why there is no button either for logging into that platform or any button for posting my comment on that post of...
