I have finally reached my $50 in November and just wondering if they automatically pay or do I need to request payment?  They already have my PayPal, so I would assume it would be automatic.  Pay date if anyone knows when they pay-maybe the middle of December?  Thanks for a reply if someone knows

Payout date is always the 28th day of the month.  The payments are automatic.  You don't need to do anything.

I see you have well over 200 articles and have been here for many years. You could probably place many of your articles on the niche sites, and speed up the date of your next payout through the increased traffic that niche sites will earn you.

Which of the niche sites are the best for the kind of pieces that I write?  Suggestions would be appreciated.  Thanks

You could start by submitting your articles on children's books to WeHaveKids. You can only submit one every two weeks, so it takes a while, but it's totally worth it.

Cindy, I see that most of your hubs are about children’s books. The niche site for that could be either LetterPile or WeHaveKids. The curators will make the final decision in case you submit to the wrong one.

Before you submit any of your hubs to a niche site, you need to be sure they meet the quality guidelines and editorial policy for the niche. Otherwise they will be rejected. I would recommend you improve the quality of your images. The pictures of those books need to be clearer, with better lighting, and cropped neatly.

You also need to fix a few of your titles and subtitles, which are not presently in APA required style.

See the learning center for specifics on bringing your hubs up to the required condition.

Also review the editorial policy on any niche site you are considering, for further guidelines. The link is at the bottom of the page of each niche site.

When you do all that, your hubs will be curated when publishing, without needing to submit them.

It's actually the following month. So, if you hit $50 in November that will be paid out on the 28th December.

You will be paid in December...IF it doesn't have Amazon payments in it.  If those are used to make the $50 it will take an additional month - Amazon payments are 2 months behind, not 1.  That's because it's always possible that something will be returned, whereupon you lose your commission for it.

Thanks so much.  I do agree that some pictures turn out rather fuzzy.  I take my own because the editors do not want me to appear to be advertising so I just take my own pictures and give credit for being the owner of the book courtesy of the publishing company that gives me the book.  That method satisfies the editors so that it does not seem like an advertisement for the book.

Yes, I understand that. But you still need to take better pictures. Fuzzy doesn't cut it. And seeing the shelf behind the book is not professional.  That’s why I suggested cropping it after you take the picture. If you want Google to rank your articles as professional quality, you need to show it that way. You put the effort into good writing, it’ll be a shame to waste that effort by skipping on the presentation.

I don't understand.  You can either show the cover of the book or not, there is no legal or practical difference between downloading the cover art from the publisher's website, or Amazon, or taking your own picture. It is generally accepted that cover art is free to use when reviewing a book.
