"I think the public library system is one of the most amazing American institutions. Free for everybody. If you ever get the blues about the status of American culture, there are still more public libraries than there are McDonald's. During the worst of the Depression, not one public library closed their doors."
-- David McCullough
Public libraries are a wonderful resource where I live, too. Their books and other items are very interesting as well as useful.
When I am researching, the library is so much better than the Internet. Being avid reader, I borrow from the ebook section.
I volunteered in a library for a few months once. For some reason I really enjoyed filing the returned books back onto the shelf. I really do not understand why I enjoyed it.
Volunteering is a beautiful thing to do. I regularly volunteer to help those in need.

"Inside, we are ageless...and when we talk to ourselves, it's the same age of the person we were talking to when we were little. It's the body that is changing around that ageless center."-- David Lynch
