    Good evening Hubpages!

I started a Hub today and mucked up the link editing, so deleted the Hub and started a new one with the exact same article title as the first attempt.

I shortened the address to that which I want, completed the article, then clicked "Publish".

I can see that the Delete on the first attempt is Pending, and this should take around 24 hours.

However, I received a message to tell me that my second (correct and complete) article can't be published because of Duplicate Content.

    I also received an email.

Is this because of the pending Deleted article?

Most likely, it is the reason for the flag. I would email team@hubpages.com and let them know if it doesn't resolve by Monday.

Well no resolution yet, and the deleted article is still there with 48 hours now having passed since I deleted it. I have sent an email to the team, explaining the situation. Hopefully it can be resolved soon.

Please be patient.  It is a holiday here in the US (Martin Luther King Day) so the staff may have the day off like most Americans.

Thank you, I live in the UK so didn't know it was a holiday weekend for the USA. I'd mailed today as Kenna recommended.

Pollyanna, You are welcome. It looks like someone is in the office because I just received a thumbs up on one of my niche articles.

Thank you, we can't hear tones when we read a post. I want to be clear that I'm just updating with the follow up that I posted today, rather than come over as being impatient!
