I haven't checked my Android views, Don. Gonna though!

I likewise checked, both ytd and just the last 7 days.

    Android still at 49+%.
    iOS still at 49+%
Windows at less than 1%. I had no idea about Windows being that low. What am I missing, or has desktop really gotten as dead as dead gets?

I can't connect to the Android link on the stats chart. Does this means it's kaput? If so, this could explain my sudden drop in views and earnings since the middle of January.

I really am becoming a dinosaur. All I can tell you is that I fumbled around on Analytics until I got the operating systems stats. As a side note: percentage-wise, my website OS data mirrored HP's OS data. Apparently it's all smartphones and Apple tablets/laptops these days.

Update. And I saw zero Linux. That can't be right (can it?). So I really don't know what to think and am wondering if I even looked at the right Analytics page. Am becoming somewhat depressed as to my obsolescence, oh well.

An update to the update. Yep, was looking at the wrong stats. Found the right ones. Meanwhile and as to the original purpose of this thread, am still getting Android visits. Represents about a third of my HP traffic for February.

This happened to me last year. I lost several thousand (up to about 5000) per day. Android now sends about 15 a day.
I have no idea why. I started numerous threads on this subject but no one has an idea on how to get them back. Brandon thinks the hubs might have been in Google feeds before and for some reason were dropped.

Maybe this is a tech issue that affects only some of the niche sites? This would be something that HP could easily check. Which niche sites are getting Android traffic and which sites are not. Then it would only be a matter of figuring out the common difference between the two groups.

Best suggestion I have heard yet! That huge loss of traffic must be effecting HPs profit.

Most of my articles are on Dengarden and my Android views are now zero.  Last year, Android sent me more traffic than anyone else except Google.

Perhaps the team can inform us of the problem on the morrow. They're not around too much on the weekends. Don't say as I blame 'em though.

Having an article on Dengarden, I immediately dragged myself back to Analytics. big_smile

I did Technology | Browser&OS | Primary Dimension: Operating System | Secondary Dimension: Destination Page.

Heart attack averted. There were Android visitors to my Dengarden article. And I can confirm Android visitors to Owlcation, ToughNickel, AxleAddict.

Edit. The bad news is the numbers were not exactly stellar.

Thank you!  I just did the same thing and according to Analytics, there is significant traffic from Android to my articles.  So why does it show zero when I go to my account on HubPages Articles -> Traffic Sources?  Why is HP not picking up the Android traffic to my articles?  Is this affecting my earnings?

I have a lot when I look at it that way, listed as Android Webview. Is that the same source as Google Android?

My views have fallen off a cliff since Christmas and according to HP stat the Android traffic is close to nil. Been here too many times to start worrying what I can do about it.

Mine crashed at about the same time Robin announced we could no longer use the affiliate Amazon and Adsense programs.

      Views have sucked since then!

Hi Randy, my traffic is tanking weekly.  Down to than less than half of what it was before Christmas. So earnings have also crashed.  This might not be happening to all Hubbers, but it still must be impacting HP's revenue. External events like Coronavirus might now be a factor as well.
